its 31dec2009. time for a new yr resolution.

firstly, i wanna be thankful for everything.
my wonderful friends! who listen to my craps, do crazy/not-so-crazy stuffs wif me, gossip (both guys&gers), celebrated my 21st n theirs too! etc etc. for everything basically!

my papa,mama,korkor,korkor's gf. for all the TLC!!!! naggings included.

my ahlin. ditto. HAHAHAHA!!! like so mean to say tt.. for all the showering of love and joy. sometimes suan-ings n pulling of my cheeks.

my new Faith. =]


NOW for my resolution 2010! wait... i didnt check whether i fulfill any of 2009's. but watevaaa... passe~. haha. AHEMMM 2010!

- to really REALLY!!! study hard before my prelims. BEFORE IT! this time round.
- to start finding job soon. then a settle on a gd job and start feeding hungry watson.
- to start saving up for my nest. and my aust trip.
- hopefully the biz plan will take flight
- to swim!! properly, regardless of styles.
- to visit the white rabbit =D
- TO BE A BETTER PERSON!!!!!!
- to learn more about Him.

my last week of dec2009

dunno wat's wrong wif blogger. always gimme gateway timeout.

dec is coming to an end soon. dooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmm!!
i have tons of assgs/tests to prepare yet nth is done. haha. hvt even go for post-christmas sale shopping =P though i saw the strait times reporting tt there wasnt much boxing day sales due to shopping fatigue! o.o

cruise was gd! we ate ALOT! watch most of the performances, missed out 1. watch movies. shop abit at phuket. n SLP!
managed to catch the sunset and sunrise, was worth it. haha.
phuket was alriteeee, juz indulging in my shopping pleasure. though it's like a mini KL chinatown so the stuffs der r like pasar malam kuan. but still was gd to get off board n explore abit.
gala dinner was NICE! food was great. great. GREAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!! the waiters even performed for us, very cute n funnny. both of us wore niceee niceeee, though we overslpt abit... due to my over-nuaing. wahaha.

den on the day we came back, later at night went to celebrate ber's 22nd at marche. was gd rite?! hehe.. at least gotta sing her a bday song! =D

on christmas we had marche again~! then at night took the santa's shuttle bus up to mt faber for the snow show. haha. i tot got some kinda performance tts y needa pay 3bucks. but nahhh... juz foam n lightings. oh well, played wif the foam n took some pics. haha.

today went to ahlin's cuzzie wedding dinner @ hotel inter-continental. they had their solemnization be4 the dinner, the theme was so chic'! mostly deco wif black n hot pink ribbons n lotsa rose petals here n der. really really nice. =]

but the bad thing is tt, both of us fell sick. had fever den serious... diarrhoea. practically visited the toilet after 3courses. even till now.. my buttocks hurt.. =.= received sms from ber tt our shopping trip hafta postpone coz she got fever n alvin got diarrhoea. wat's up?!?!??!

today at 11.15am whille we were having classes... there was... a FIREDRILL!!!!! WAHAHAHA. uni le leh! i tot my lecturer was joking when she said to quickly pack up n go down to the courtyard to assemble. but she wasnt... staffs were around to "guide" us, mainly to chase us down. haha. saw many familiar faces waiting at the courtyard. haha. funny sia.

right right, after class ber,alvin n i went to pick watson den off we go to....
flutes at the fort!!! they had this festive set lunch @ $42++, so decided to reward the guys for their hardwork during the fyp/exams. hahaha. SEE WE SOOOO NICE!!!!

basically we had the same food though there were other choices. haha. we have similar taste eh.
Appetizer: Foie Gras. Smoked Salmon.
Main: Wagyu brisket. Turkey.
Dessert: Caramelized Peach with raspberry ice cream. Christmas Pudding with vanilla ice cream.
and english brkfast tea/chamomile/coffee for us.

the salmon was goooood. foie gras... hmmm, i tink too fatty for me le. wagyu was quite tender n savoury! dessert i hafta switch mine wif watson coz i prefer his. WAHAHAH.

went to celebrate ching's last paper on tues! wooho! ur nightmares have ended! went to watch Couples Retreat @ cine. it's supppperrr FUNNY!!!! but NC16 =P coz of some/alot of suggestive moves. hahaha. go there to have a hearty luff! worth ur $6bucks!

after movie, went to a pasta place at taka. we felt tt it was much bttr than pasta mania! it cost almost the same, no service charge and there's free ice water =D haha. the pasta were served steamy hot and a good portion of meat, unlike bits n pieces of it.very very satisfied with our dinner. haha.

of coz, it was dessert time! n we went...... Canele!!! wahaha. my fav dessert stop. ordered tiramisu for myself while strawberry shortcake for ching. and we had the wrong tea again!!!! it was the tea tt i hated, the taste was weird weird... it felt as though i was drinking saline solution (though i nvr drank tt be4, but the feeeeeeeeeeel~~~ was der!). it said to be a remedy for cold and headaches, mebbe tt expains for its weird taste. it's called... Dry Desert Lime! SKIPPPPPP!!!! haha. i even hafta add honey in for xtra flavour.

after dessert, chatted awhile then weilong came~ so it was my time to leave=P no ar! haha. gif u 2 er ren shi jie! haha. then reaching wdl, watson came to pei me for awhile after his appt and then off i went back home. at least it was good meeting up for awhile. heee

but my cuzzie,the bride was dolled up, so pretty~ she had pretty gowns too! her wedding pictures were so niceeeeee. give u the magical vibes. all tgt now: awwwwwwwwwww....

i finally bought a LONGGGGG dress! woohoo. someone dun needa complain bout dresses too short. really hard to find long dresses i realized. going to wear it today for my cuzzie's wedding dinner. mebbe i can snap some shots! dun really have a habit of taking family photos.
im gna curl my hair using the old school methods of big rollers! hahaha.

am looking forward to the flutes date. hopefully everything goes well for ber too. dun tink bout it too much, things will revert back to the wk be4 when u guys were star glazing on a beach.. awww....
after tt is phuket! lemme noe if u guys wanna get some phuket stuffs (e.g. nuts? heard tt their nuts quite famous. or clothes? dun expect it to be like bangkok those prices tt's wat i've heard)

after that had dinner at taka's tonkatsu? jap place (the place that sells deep fried pork cutlet) whahaa. sounds like some hawker centre western food. but it aint!

we were given a "grinding" stone bowl wif sesame seeds. being first timers (for me) der, i juz tried to grind...tinking it was just to occupy our waiting time. haha. so i grinded... and added some seaweed vinegar sauce, tinking it's correct. until the staff came to clarify it tt i've used the wrong sauce! tt sauce is for the salad. wahahaaaaaa watevaaaa. it smells gd mah. and she saw wat i added, she quickly gave me a new set.

dinner was gd though quite late. haha. hui jia loh!

lin pi pi gna start work tml, hopefully time is der for us to complete my "things-to-do-after-linpipi's-exams!!!!" hahaha. he'll work hard! if anyone is free, can drop by to say hi or mebbe buy some organic stuffs. haha

meat fest~ @ Brazil Churrasco ! starve urself for a day,and indulge in meat.. meat.. and MORE MEAT!!!! mebbe a couple of potatoes / vege here n der. haha
went with ahlin for dinner, initially tot there was a dress code to adhere to. luckily there wasnt, as i was dressed in shorts + tee + slippers (sch style~) wahhaha. super cui.

their style was similar to that of carnivore. waiters will go arnd cutting off the meat onto ur plate. due to enthusiasm, i've took all kinda meat for the first quarter till my plate was full. hafta start chomping.

they have this "appetizer bar" serving.... boiled potatoes, wedges, diff types of veges, tofu wif vege, beans, FRIED RICE! and goreng pisang... LOL. it was nice! hearts the potatoes n goreng pisang! so even be4 the mini cheese buns or meat arrived, our plates were filled with potatoes, veges, etc. haha. like chai fan.

their roast BEEF was the best!!!!! cudnt resist it, though it was abit bloody for me. perfect for dee. they oso have roasted? bbq? pineapples! haha. i was abit apprehensive bout it, as my tongue will itch if i eat it. but ah lin assured me it wun, so i had a piece.. den 2 pieces.. den 4pieces! WAHAHA. it was gooooooooooooooooddddd!! didnt itch at all, pineapples were sweet! i like pairing it up with the roasted ham. pineapples + ham = hawaiian pizza!!!

to up the level abit... we had: CHICKEN HEARTS! Ji Xin!
he said it's a must try! n was looking fwd to it.. can see.... haha. it was..... hmm... like meat? but more chewy chewy. the taste was like meat? but more plain. no bloody taste. just a weird feeling when u chew it knowing it's a heart. haha.
but oh well! i did it~ ate 3 of it. =D

after tt, had dessert. dessert was so-so... haha. juz to end off dinner with dessert.

been to a few bday parties this wk. all the 21s. haha. thinking of this, i've come to realize that today's mid Nov. 2009 is coming to an end soon, a new yr is approaching. so many times i've said this, but this time it feels somehow poignant. mebbe coz we're gonna graduate soon n no more grand 21st to look forward to. like we're moving onto The Next chapter. haha. humbuggg...

sidenote: christmas carol is coming soon!!!! MUZ WATCH IT! it was my sec2 lit book. so can kinda rmb some of the quotes. haha.

right right, on a cheerful note. i've handed in my IM assg! yeaaa~~~~~

n onto bdays! we went to freddie's 21st. it was at Swiss Club @ the Rifle Lounge. we had a nice welcome by the Bday Boy and his frenz. took a polaroid photo! so coooool!!!! I REALLY WANNA A POLAROID CAMERA now. hahaha.

he gave every guest a daisy accompanied with a handmade note. so sweeeeeeeeeeeet. n he's a guy! hahaa. sentimental. haha.

at the end of the celebration, we went to the pool area for a surprise!

LOOKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone settled into grps to write messages onto the lantern n let it off~ with the help of hot air.

was so exciting. that was my first time doing it. our lantern was burned!!! we kept holding onto it while taking photos, so it somehow was held slanted and it caught fire. haha. so sad.. but luckily! there was an extra lantern! woohoo. so the 2nd time was successful. haha.

next up: was ghit's bday! we went to vienna intl buffet @ novena square. hated going novena.. cant differentiate the shopping centres. got square2, velocity, wateva crap. once got lost while i was temp-ing at P&G.this time was no exception. luckily found my way der, the CROWD!!!!!!! wasnt a sight to behold. the place aint big, but for profits sake, there were many tables, but the buffet area was kinda squeezy, not ideal for traffic flow.

but food wise, was soso. i juz hamtam the seafood! didnt even take cheap hawkerfare like fried rice, beehoon, etcetc. buffet mah... always aim for the pricey ones like sashimi, lobster, crab, oysters (for those who luv dem, u're in for a real treat) FREE FLOW OF OYSTERS!!! looked fresh. there was also birdnest eggtart!! BUT i didnt have the chance to eat it, was snatched away as soon as it was placed der. sighhhhhhh. didnt have time take pictures. time was precious! every min counts! hahaha. price per pax was arnd $37 (inclu. of gst n service charge). if u aint a fan of snatching food or squeezing and staring at aunties/kids snatching or bumpin into u, avoid going at arnd 12/1+pm. (lunch buffet starts from 1130am - 330pm).

after that, we went back to wdl to ter house watch PARANORMAL ACTIVITY!!!!!!!!!!!!

wahahah~~~ didnt have the guts to watch it in cinema. we juz fwd the show to its night time. tt's when all the scary stuffs happened. haha. we countdown every SECOND! when it was at night. haha. it was wise tt we watched it at ter house, as we were all speculating wat might happen next, making weird assumptions n having a gd scare when us gers screamed suddenly. hahaha!! while some guys wiki the show to see whether it's true. but it's not based on a true story. haha. ter had the uncut version, so we (i meant they, coz i covered my eyes!) saw the video bout this woman being possessed and chewing her arm off. i saw abit of the video but was too scared to cont watching it. WAS GROSS/SCARY!!!!!!! tt was too much to stomach. =OO

show ended. time for cake cutting - strawberry shortcake! wheeeeeeee. haha. we bought an adidas Peach Tree watch for ghit. his "subtle" hint was too oblivious for me to get it.. hahha.

den i went over to paul's place for his bday celebration! haha. bought a Made in Candy rockcandies for him. find it unique and cute. haha. they ordered lots of pizzas and chicken wings. haha. glad he was happy.

today's weather aint cheery. but it's kinda shiok to stay at home n nua. haha. alrite! it shall be nuanua day!

we boarded arnd 6.45pm? so the sun was setting, skies were still abit bluey. we gotta c night creeping up, from the evening skies to the night city lights. worth $10, but not the usual $29.90. =x

it was mission: "surprise-watsonlin!!" at fish&co the glass house. glad everything went smoothly. haha. really thankful to all who turned up!! i hvt blogged bout sch!
sch is................ greaaaaaaaaat on some days. hahaha. im grateful that i have company for all my lects. lest i dun hafta be zibi or feel very embarrassed when my stomach growled n no one's der to luff tgt.

Mkting: i highly suspect my lecturer is a hkger. her accent.... soso familiar~ hahaha. mkting kinda incorporat abit of ibm stuffs. so at times when she mention stuffs like Porter 5 forces, ber n i will "ehh ehh~~~" hahaha.

MM: i got an Angmoh lecturer~~~ though 40% of the time kinda hard to interpret wat he's toking bout. luckily its math... practice makes perfect. doing more qns made me understand fully wat he's toking bout.

IM: welcome back ah peh. long time no see....... *screen saver mode on* nuff said. koh siew min will be taking over at the later half.

MSM: ex-regular. no idea wat's chap 1 abt. but now am doing network diagrams, kinda fun when u get the hang of it.

ah~ school. feels so gd to be back. though i dun haf any lessons with laochen or xl, MEET ME FOR LUNCH! BRK! watevaaa meal!

Recently, i went to Orchard Central (super cold place) and finally tried the tarts at FRUIT PARADISE!!!!!!
the tarts loooook sosososo delicious, juz hafta try at least once.

MANGO! with cheesecake

n me. pardon my expression, i was still testing out which angle i shud face. hahaha.

i had the mango tart. i like the cheesecake base. but the crust cud have been nicer. i tot it'll be sweeter coz of its appearance but nahh.. the chocolate banana cud have been sweeter, thicker choco den it'll be fantastic. but do try it once. den decide whether to eat it again. haha. 1 slice : $7.80!

they do have pots of diff kinda tea. i tried the Yuzu Pear green tea. oh mannn... it's bitter, sure can ti shen! great place to mug, since not relaly alot of ppl goes to orchard central and we chose the corner tables, more isolated area. hahaha.

jw bribed us to watch Fame. was quite nice, i like thse parts when they were all dancing n singing. but dun really enjoyed the draggy toking parts. mebbe i was tired, had a morn class be4 tt.

im now addicted to TRY by ASHER BOOK! supeeeeeeeeeeeer sweeeet.

new student card!!!

did anyone know bout this new sim student card?? apparaently, a notice was put up on portal in feb 2009. haHAH!

SIM Student cards
· A notice was put up in February 2009 to inform students to exchange their old SIM student card to the new one. The new student card is a special card which will allow students to tap on the readers in the lecture theatres to register your attendance and for identification purpose.
· If you still have not collected your new card , the collection dates are as follows :
- Local Student : 29 September – 5 October @ Room 1.07 (10am-12noon, 1.30pm-4.30pm, 6.00pm-7.15pm)

though our attendance doesnt matter but it will still appear under "Student Attendance".

· For attendance to be captured, students must tap their attendance 30 minutes before class starts or within 60 minutes after lesson starts. Late comers will be marked as absent.

xlb buffet. kohi ten!

firstly, gotta thanks laochen for organising thurs' xlb buffet!! yumyumyummm!! ate 3longs of xlb again. was damnnn shiok. really cut down on the steamboat food, coz it's nth special. tis time i nvr chiong on my gui hua gao~ had arnd 8? slices of it. gddd stuff. the pics i hvt upload to com =x

FRI
went to meet ching!! after her lessons. met at PS to do abit of shopping, after tt brought her to this lil' delightful Jap Cafe - Kohi Ten. hahaha. nahhh, it's not a maid cafe.
btw, maid cafe kinda sux? went der once, the waitress do cosplay, but aint cuties. food aint tt bad, kinda 4gotten how was it actually coz i went der to watch soccer. hahhaa! so the emphasis was more of getting a gd table n watch it. OKIE. digress too much.

KOHI TEN! the desserts n drinks r the besta! worth ur penny and it aint pricey. =]]
they have this promotion of 1-for-1 dinner, so ching ordered teriyaki chicken spag. while i ordered the hayashi omurice. tasted not bad, was quite satisfied with it.
oh yea, for frenz who dint noe.. my tooth is currently hurting badly, i suspect it's my 2 wisdom tooth growing both at the right side. so everytime i chew it felt as though 2 rocks r clashing against each other. seriously... i cudnt really chew my food thoroughly, so i'll juz swallow it down. ahhhh. suxor. okie. digress again.

after that, we had DESSERTS!!!!!!!!! AHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had my all-time fav strawberry crepes. =D
for all the first timers der, they give 2 scoops of STRAWBERRY ice cream, on the other hand only 1 scoop of CHOC or MACHA ice cream. so dun get cheated~ hahaha.

finally we gotta catch up on stuffs. hope those bad "habits" will change and he'll learn to treasure the time spent with u even more. dun worry dun worry! hahaha. =]]
