futsal!!

time to update abit. last sat we had aon united day (family day), i participated in the futsal compt.since tt day was a charity event for the boys town, so we integrated with them (5boys+3aon staff in a team). i tink it was my 2nd time kicking soccer. hahahah!
our "coach" said i was aggressive, i nearly got a yellow card. =.= oh really? i tot i was juz hopping arnd, trying to be useful on the field. hahah.
we had buffet lunch, lucky draw (dint win.... sigh~). then some colleagues n i headed off to rider's cafe and we had some sandwiches n tea. my taitai lifestyle~

otto ristorante

today had my team dinner at OTTO (at the red dot). it was super gd. we had a glass of champagne/red wine and stilled water each. made a toast (another welcome to the team gers), den bread was served. a choice of 6 differnet types of bread? haha. at the speed the waiter pronounced their names, i have no idea wat they were except for the cranberry bread. so i took tt and another italian bread. a small slice of salmon with tomato pesto sauce was served. yumm...

appetizer: wagyu beef with mushroom salad! wooo! im glad i ordered tt, satisfied my hunger for beef (wagyu beef esp.) and they werent stingy bout it, super contented.
main: atlantic cod fish with... etc. GD! fresh and soft, no strong fishy smell.
dessert: almond and pine nut tart with pistachio ice cream. i like the ice cream! as for the tart it aint tt bad, mebbe im not really a fan of nuts. boss had cheese platter and all of us were game for blue cheese and some other exotic cheese.

bill was O.O, call me swaku... but i nvr had sucha ex dinner be4.. haha. $600+ for 4pax. this can only happen with team dinner/lunch. after tt, we headed down to marina bay sands. 2 went into the casino to try their luck, while me n my senior cabbed home. claim-able! haha =D


few more days till msia trip. hope everything goes smoothly.

seriously speaking... it's like im doing self study (reading thru policies, or the companies infor, reading news), at times helping to do invoicing and using the system. im not complaining.. mebbe i'll be soon, coz exams next mth!!!

met up with underwriters from a insurer for brkfast. they treated us~ haha. i like the idea of having my schedule filled with appts with insurers or clients =x this coming mon, boss said we'll be going for the team dinner, it'll be at Otto Ristorante (italian). reviews seem to be gd! cant wait! then on thurs, it'll be half day coz we'll be celebrating Aon United Day!!!! YESH! in conjunction with the launch of Man Utd new jersey (Aon is sponsoring), we will make a new record of penalty kicks. hahaha! u might c me on tv! =D *i'll jump n wave* after tt, we'll be meeting up with another insurer for "drinks".
den following onto tt sat, i'll be Aon's family day. believe it or not... i've agree to participate in futsal compt.. LOL. i hope i dun fall, brk my leg/nose, or kick the air instead of ball. dun wanna xia suay infront of so many colleagues. haha.

first day of work

i got to the company super early. saw my perm(she made an effort to be on time)-sandrine, telling me my boss-mike said to meet at 830am to give me a warm welcome. in the end, boss was late. haha! went for a short orientation by the HR, total 8 new comers (including me) but all went to diff depts.

after orientation, had a mini trg with the other team-mate:gladys; at the cafe.. again. haha. this time i had hot choc! sipp~ gotta know more bout my job: broking (professional lines and D&Os).
we had a team lunch at table 66(as per recommendation by sandrine), courtesy of mike. hahaha!
the minute i went in, i saw bottles of FIJI water placed on the tables. we had a choice of sparkling or stilled water. i had mine stilled. choice of a variety of appetizers,mains and dessert. had salmon sashimi salad; seabass fillet and apple crepe with gelato. ending it off with a cup of 4got-the-name tea (they had a list of it). best lunch!

cant wait to attend the meetings with clients/insurers. we even have an after-work meeting coming soon. still.... it feels like im on a vacation job. haha.
tml's dress-down day! and since the building we're working at is having a firedrill exercise... mike decided to have a "brkfast meeting" at gloria jean's instead of reporting to the office. i guess time for trg lesson 2!

im gna decorate my desk with lotsa barang barangs. haha. im gna develop some photos and put dem into a nice frame! haha.

as june closes its curtains, july waves hello to me.
starting work soon at AON, im praying hard that my working environment and dept will be nice. really hope i wun encounter any bad politics. hope the same for the gers too!
one thing im happy is tt laochen,xl n i will be working arnd the same area: tanjong pagar. haha. let's hunt for gd food; buy the famous muffins!; go for gd restaurant dinners arnd tt area. =] ber: u r most welcome to join us when u dun haf trg. hehe. we will meet up de!

as for the other side of my life, i do hope to say i c sunshine again. the rays are shooting out of the grey clouds.. i hope the sun comes out soon. im thankful for those who were there for me. your constant concerns and smses helped me brave through that storm. muackiestoyouall!

first off, i've received news from aon le, will be going down on fri. thou shan't greed...

secondly, my mummy kinda dyed my hair abit. she used the left-overs from her dye (liese) and spread it on my hair. dun waste dun waste. time to get more conditioners/serum.

thirdly, start date of my work will not clash with the msia trip. THANKEW! i can go in peace.

life so far..

took up kickboxing class with ching @ sembawang cc. quite fun, as the wk progresses the tempo increases. sumtimes hard to keep up.

will receive word from AOn by end wk whether the job is cfm. so fingers crossed. but gotta say, my interviews with the director/interviewer kinda weird weird de. really like chatting. for the 1st, he dun really look at me n tok. and the thing is tt he didnt asked me bout my previous job experiences, more of asking where my sec sch is and wat is MOE award. ermmm.. den for my 2nd interview/coffee chat, we had it at an australian cafe over a cup of tea! LOL! oh well. haha. shall see how it goes.

it felt as though few wks has passed since my last paper. was good, had gd times with my frens. went shopping, to some agencies, walking...walking...walking.. n decoders' cafe. haha. took up kic-boxing class with ching, it's at semb. CC. hopefully it'll be fun and i dun faint or sumthing. been quite awhile since i've exercised. HAHAHA!!

thurs is coming and then it'll be the gers graduation too. hopefully things go well and we getta enjoy the celebration tgt. job hunting is a bore... totally sian. how i wish my 3yrs aint over yet n tis is just the usual 3mths hols. haha. hopefully friday will turn up gd as well, everyday seems to be a bz day for him. finally PH is here so hoping something gd might happen.

had my first battle with MM on 7may. paper defeated me. speechless.. not really speechless, i complained alot. hahaha! haiya. idiot paper. my paper had 15mins extension, due to the mrt delay from eunos - tanah merah at arnd 1.45pm. heard tt a guy got hit/jump off the rail. so students were still streaming in at arnd 2.45pm (paper starts at2.30pm) poor guys... they muz have really panick n rannnn all the way to hall 7.
the 15mins extension came to a gd use, i managed to scribble some eqns for a part. hopefully can get a few marks here n der. now i hope everyone else dont fare well, so uol will push down benchmark. haha.
after paper, was happy tt ahlin called me just as i left the hall. really did cheer me up. was happy to know he rmb wat time i ended and was der to "accompany" home. at tt time, i felt a warm fluffy feeling inside... hee

yest was bad, i was totally stressed out. IM is real bad.. sbt. i tot i was on the verge of a brkdown, felt like im gna freak out on mon and unable to produce a proper ans. i tink i got exam phobia le. =[ been some time since we've met up, hopefully on tues after his trg or on wed.. cud use a gd hug n few pats on my head and words of encouragement n tlc. i'll be a bttr ger, wun do it again.. gers r welcome to do so too. hahaha.

today had my last lect - msm local. haha. david is funny. after tt, stayed in school to study. revision room quite empty, tink everyone's pia-ing at home. haha. after tt, went to clear my locker and wat a surprise~ i found my packet of lemonade sachets tt i've put der since yr1 or 2. 4got le. last time i tot tt i will study in sch, den can make myself a cup of lemonade to drink, so i even kept laochen's prezzie for me (a mug) in the locker, till recently den i took it home. ahhaha! it's all for gd use! so it's impt to me k! haha.

after tt, had memories flowing back to me while walking the lvl3 walkway. the side where the escalator direction operates. the free printer tt we use to print massive tons of notes! the bus ride home. suddenly felt abit emo. haha. like a part of my story is ending soon, kinda sad bout it. always ranted bout studies, boring lectures (ahemm ah peh...), sch being far from home, etc. but sch life was great coz of the people i met, lecturers who tell lame jokes/inspired us, the activities/events we went for. i muz say though my uni isnt tt great, but my frens are! hence making my uni life great too! big muackies to ber,laochen,xl,elaine,hy,aliah,caiqi! handshake with yecheng n guys. LOL.
and also not 4getting my sec sch who still rox my life n jc mates, ching who also been der for me during my down times, mugging times, etc etc.

today the bus i boarded (961 back to wdl) got into an accident with a motorbike. i saw the uncle roll roll on the ground.but bus driver didnt get down, juz called back to terminal or sumthing to ask for help i guess. really quite dangerous, its like human meat vs steel. luckily wasnt too serious, he was still able to walk n whipped ut his iPhone to call someone. we got down n walked to the nearest bus stop.

at home, *warning - reader's discretion* i went to the bathroom to pee n the toilet seat squashed a lizard. QUITE... no, VERY GROSS! at first i tot y got 'seaweed' below the seat, den i lifted the seat.. a bloody, squashed lizard. part of its skin was stuck onto the underside of the seat. okie... just ewwwwwwww!!!!!!! a lizard kena squashed indirectly by my butt!!!! implying.... the lizard cud nearly touch my butt! im gna scrub my butt later.

SUDDENLY april came. 1 more mth till exams, still my "off-days" seem aplenty. haha. only gotten back 2 of my prelim papers: IM and MSM. passed both, not fantastic passes. my 2nd upper...... ={ rev classes will be in full blast in a wk's time. hopefully i will not feel too drained. and the lecturers bttr give gd tips! and of coz speak in a manner we understand. haha. *sudd recall CF lect... pascal~*

recently, i went to bukit indah (msia) for a short day trip with ahlin and frens. went on a gd shopping spree!!!! im so happy to get gd buys! (e.g. at FOS: i bought 2 tops - 1 banana republic tank, 1 dunno-wat-brand top for juz RM15!!!!!!) and bought 1 top from padini and another 1 from SEED: total RM79 - mummy got RM60 voucher for those, so just needa forked out RM19.
actually mummy sponsored for my entire trip!! WAHAHAHA.
tt's y i luv going to msia. near.. VERY near my house and got sponsor. haha. one day, i wanna stay at my mummy's usual hotel - The Zon. see how gd it is, and go Taman Sentosa for seafood and go back to bukit indah for shopping and my A&W rootbeer float!!!
i 4got to mention, they have this mani+pedi+2D nailart for all 10fingernails = RM28 ! gers, we shud go der one day...
as for the guys, they got themselves pampered by the royal thai massages (arnd RM40).
"no time for massage! must shop!" tt was my motto of that day.

weather been pretty bad this month or so. aftns iare sorching hot! i tink one can do a sunny-side up instantly. till evening, can feel its humidity... bad for naps. bad for studying. haha. luckily, there's civics lib to escape to! free air-con n lights. no idiot neighbours hammering.

my prelims are coming. i have YET to touch my MM,MSM,Mkting. only started abit of my IM which has alot of loopholes here n der. prelims r doomed to buang~ but still.. a lil' hardwork will prove to be satisfactory to oneself. SO! im gna do up a study tymtable! haha. n the mugging process will start.
my final stretch of mugging as a FT student. *holds my breath* this truly sux. now im missing sch days!

alot of things on my mind. mostly are my worries. so many things uncertain, fearful.. i seek His help. back to my younger days, under the protective wings of parents we dun really worry or think tt much. adulthood isnt really tt awesome afterall.

mummy is cooking food this yr instead of our usual steamboat at home. she bought roasted duck ready, heard there'll be seafood soup, abalone, mushrooms and brocolli! of coz side dish is bak kwas (cut). WAHAHAHA. im guessing the weight i lost during my LS period is coming back... nooooooooooooo.. hahaha.

- he won a pair of movie tix (for his mummy though)

in the aftn met up with ching to get our nails done. we scouted all the nail palours in far east for the best bargain! woohoo n we did. i dint noe tt der's this cny surcharge of arnd $10 per pax at most places (except the one we went! HEHEEE). so ludicrous lor. not as though we grew extra longgggggg nails for them to paint or that the staffs doing OT now. BEWARE GERS! those surcharge might not be written on their price list, hidden charges so bttr ask properly. right right, i did express mani+pedi @ $25nett, while ching did classic mani+pedi @ $45nett. i really tink that my toe nails r pathetic, even the staff said so "wahh, u cut so short so deep arh?" yeah, i cant really maintain my toenails tt well. i painted "bloody red" for my toes, and those "very-pinkish pink" for my fingers. haha. i bought a long striped blouse at HURS too! (2 pieces, get 20% off). you'll c sooon... very soon... hahaha.

went for my d&d on sat, being held at NLB. yes, wat a place. it was at the 16th floor - the pod. it was a buffet style dinner, food was not tt bad. edible. haha. but the turnout rate was -.-" majority r from student council. basically only bout 3 small grps r non-council ppl. nvm, we juz carried on with our dinner, massive phototakings (with compliments to alvin's zai slr camera). haha. pictures have been kindly uploaded to fb by ber. thx ber!!
oh, and i won a lucky draw! Fabulous Group Indoor Tanning (worth $75). LIKE NOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! y not food vouchers? i wanna be fair fairrrr. bai xue gong zhu u noe. hahaha. anyone wanna ? im gna ebay it. =x

after d&d, we left for ben&jerry at dempsey. wooo. nicey! we got ourselves a merlionster! yummyummm. ice cream sure is comforting. took pics again and home we go! sososo tired... been getting up early, not enuff slp. my poor eyebags r evidence!

sun went for goodwood park's high-tea as part of my belated bday celebration. thx to lydia, weiyi, jia en and ys!! it was great! ate till super full.. haha. walked abt in far east, tempted to do my nails for cny. hope gd packages will come out soon! haha. cmon shops show ur competitive edge, gimme ur best price! haha.

it's been sucha long time... as of today or a couple of days ago, i've really.. really recovered from diarrhoea. no more rain thru' anus, or burning sensation.
it feels gd to be eating ice cream, crepes, yoggi... i miss those food! haha.

i've recovered from the terrible case of diarrhoea (record: 10days or so). it was tormenting. if someone ever wanna jian fei by having diarrhoea, think 10000times.

all's gd now! SO FOOOD HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mummy did warn me to eat something light these few days, not to jump into oily,fried stuffs. so my med-well steak with baked potato n bacon bits shall be put on hold.
ii've just satisfied my stomach wif kway chap! SHIOKKKK AH! finally some meat. wooo!

its really a hugee turn off to have ur stomach churning, anus burning those kinda feeling.
its really gross everytime u go to the toilet and... releaseee....

ITS AN EMBARRASSMENT when ur stomach GROWLED LIKE THUNDER! during msm lect and EVERYONE heard it and your mates LOL at u and imitate tt sound.
